Bridge-building physics puzzle · Android

Draft it.
Test it.
Watch it hold.

Lay roads, timber beams, steel girders and cables on a 1 m grid, press Test and watch cars, buses and water tankers roll across while every piece of your bridge is coloured by how hard it works. 55 levels, five zones, three stars each.

01How it works

The drafting table of level 2-03: a steel truss on a support pier, a new girder being dragged with its length and price label

ADraft

Put a finger on a joint and drag to a grid point. The ghost member shows its length and price before you let go; red means it is not allowed. Undo, redo, erase, pan and zoom whenever you like - the budget updates live.

BTest

The simulation takes over: vehicles drive across while every member glows from green (relaxed) through yellow to red (about to break). A replay of any passing test plays back exactly the same way.

A bare road snapped in two and a car falling into the valley

CImprove

Overloaded members snap and show you exactly where the bridge gave up. Add a triangle, shorten a long beam that gets squeezed, switch to steel - and test again. No timers, unlimited retries.

02Five zones, eleven levels each

  1. The first level with the tutorial note and a hand showing where to drag

    Z1

    River Valley

    Timber road and timber beams

Your first spans over a lazy river: prop up a sagging road, learn why triangles hold their shape, build trusses below and above the deck, climb uneven banks and lean on a rock pillar.

  2. The drafting table of level 2-03: a steel truss on a support pier, a new girder being dragged with its length and price label

    Z2

    Desert Canyon

Steel road, steel girders, support piers

Cargo trucks and city buses arrive. Steel is strong and stiff but heavy and pricey - and on the dashed foundation pads you can stand concrete support piers.

  3. A suspension bridge between two pylons in the Alpine Pass with a bus and a truck crossing

    Z3

    Alpine Pass

    Cables, pylons, suspension

Deep glacier gorges with nothing to lean on below. Hang the deck from pylons with cables that only pull, build cable stays and full suspension bridges.

  4. A cable-stayed truss at the Harbour Cliffs with a wind sock, a bus and a truck

    Z4

    Harbour Cliffs

Gusty wind, carbon struts, water tankers

Sea gusts push on every beam, updrafts lift the deck and the 8-tonne water tanker is the heaviest load in the game. Carbon struts are feather-light - and expensive.

  5. Three truss spans pinned to two bobbing lift platforms in Night City

    Z5

    Night City

    Moving lift platforms

Lift platforms bob up and down over the canals. Spans pinned to them have to tilt and flex as they move - stiff cable stays tied to a moving end snap.

03The material schedule

The same numbers the game uses. Strength is pull / push in game units; roads are the only pieces vehicles can drive on and may climb at most 45°. Support piers stand on foundation pads.

04Three stars, three ways

  • Stability — nothing breaks and the highest stress stays under the level's limit.
  • Economy — the bridge costs no more than the target.
  • Elegance — you used no more pieces than the target.

Stars add up across attempts, so a lean bridge and a sturdy bridge can each earn their own. A level counts as passed when every vehicle reaches the flag and you stayed within the budget. Every one of the 55 levels has been solved with all three stars by a reference design running the game's own simulation.

05And on the side table

The sandbox setup: gap width, height, wind, scenery, anchors, pylons, pad, lift platform and vehicles
Sandbox — pick the gap, the height, pylons, a pier pad or a lift platform, wind and a convoy of up to four vehicles, then build without a budget.
The Alpine Pass zone sheet with eleven level nodes and earned stars
Zone map — eleven levels per zone; pass nine to open the next zone, and you may skip a level that gives you trouble.
The briefing card of level 4-04 with budget, vehicle, materials and star targets
Briefings, blueprints and replays — see budget, loads and star targets up front, keep designs in blueprint slots on your device and replay passing tests.
